Kitchen Assistants

(Hours: Casual)

Grade 2 (£6.47 – £7.04 per hour)

Governors are seeking to appoint Kitchen Assistants to join the team on a casual basis to meet the varying needs of the school.

The role will involve food preparation and dining room duties. Previous experience in a similar role and a commitment to providing a quality service is required.

Inspection Report 2011

Following the visit by inspectors, 23/24 November, the final report has been published. Headteacher, Mr Lee, said “The focus of this report, in line with the new schedule for inspection, was on the learning progress our students make during their time in our school. The standard demanded of us all increases each year and the judgement is that our students generally make the progress expected of them from Y7 through to GCSE. Since the last inspection in March 2009 parents will be aware of the great improvements that have been consistently made in examination results at GCSE.”

EPCHS Parents Association donates funding for the local parish trip to Lourdes thus helping to keep the costs affordable for our students to attend.
The EPCHS Parent Association provide the travel for annual Prom Nights
Each Year the PA organise the Summer Plan Sale, Our 2010 sale raised £1222.00

The Parents Association provides an opportunity for all parents & guardians to work together to raise money and support the school. We usually meet on the first Wednesday of each month during term time.

We appreciate the busy schedule we all have as parents, but would encourage you to offer your support. Even giving a small amount of help can make a valuable contribution. New members with fresh ideas and enthusiasm are constantly required if we are to continue to support and raise funds for the pupils of our school.

Our main source of funding comes from our ‘Annual Summer Plant Sale’ where parents, staff and the local community are invited to purchase from a wide variety of baskets and bedding plants. Our other ventures have included Quiz Nights, Craft Fairs and Table Top Sales.

Last year [2010] we asked students how they would like to see our fundraising spent, which resulted in us providing 20 outdoor picnic benches. We continue to offer financial support for various items that potentially benefit ALL pupils.
